Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid SLPA license or certification required
- Prior experience in a school-based setting, ideally at the high school level
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices in speech and language support
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Comfortable managing a caseload of approximately 15-20 students
Responsibilities Include:
- Implementing therapy sessions under the direction of an SLP, both individual and small group
- Collaborating with educators and staff to support student success
- Accurately documenting student progress and maintaining timely records
- Providing feedback to supervising SLP regarding student needs
- Adapting therapeutic activities to engage older students
