Desired Qualifications:
- Active and valid New Hampshire SLPA licensure is required
- Previous experience in a school-based setting
- Confidence working with elementary caseloads; experience with preschoolers is a plus
- Familiarity with ABA programs and self-contained classrooms
- District fingerprint clearance prior to start
- Able to collaborate with multidisciplinary staff and contribute to IEP teams
- Comfortable conducting sessions and documentation per school protocols
- Prepared for virtual interviews via Zoom
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language services to 2nd-5th grade students as outlined in IEPs
- Consult with teachers, special education teams, and families to help generalize strategies
- Develop session plans and monitor student progress, adapting intervention as needed
- Support preschool caseload on occasion, addressing a range of communication needs
- Maintain accurate records and participate in meetings as requested
- Collaborate effectively within an ABA self-contained program
