Position Overview:
ProCare Therapy is seeking qualified Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) to join a supportive school team for the 2026–2027 school year. These full-time, onsite positions offer 24 hours per week and provide an excellent opportunity to support students across elementary and middle school settings.
One SLPA will support elementary schools, while the second SLPA will support middle school students. Middle school experience is preferred for the middle school position. A virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is already in place to provide the required supervision, guidance, and support.
Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
Implement treatment plans and interventions designed by the supervising SLP
Support students across elementary or middle school settings, depending on placement
Collect therapy data and monitor student progress toward IEP goals
Maintain accurate therapy notes and documentation
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student success
Prepare therapy materials and assist with classroom-based interventions
Communicate student progress and treatment updates to the supervising SLP
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions, as appropriate
Qualifications:
Active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license required
OSPI fingerprint clearance required
Candidates who are willing to obtain Washington SLPA licensure and OSPI fingerprint clearance will also be considered
Previous school-based experience preferred
Middle school experience preferred for the middle school position
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Passion for supporting student growth and communication development
