Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Speech or Communication Disorders is required
- Eligible for, or possession of, a Virginia SLP license (SLPA license is not recognized in Virginia)
- School-based experience or familiarity with educational settings, especially serving diverse student populations
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and written communication skills
- Ability to travel between multiple school locations as assigned (please include your ZIP code when applying)
Position Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language intervention services to students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
- Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and document student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student success
- Prepare instructional materials and help monitor classroom participation
- Maintain all required documentation in accordance with state and district guidelines
