Qualifications:
- Current and valid SLPA license or certification for the state of Texas (SLPA TX required)
- Experience in school-based and/or healthcare settings involving children or adolescents
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse team and student population
- Commitment to supporting students’ speech and language goals under direction of an SLP
Responsibilities:
- Assist the supervising SLP in implementing individualized treatment plans for students
- Conduct group and one-on-one speech and language therapy sessions
- Collect data and maintain accurate progress notes on student performance
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff to support student progress
- Ensure compliance with all district, state, and federal guidelines
