Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid SLPA license and certification required
- Previous experience working in a school setting (middle school preferred)
- Strong collaboration skills when working alongside speech-language pathologists, educators, and support staff
- Excellent organizational ability to manage a caseload of 45 students
- Commitment to fostering positive student outcomes
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to middle school students under the direction of an SLP
- Assist in implementing Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals for assigned students
- Conduct group and individual therapy sessions
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and session activities
- Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and families to support each learner’s needs
- Adapt session materials to engage and motivate students
