As an integral part of the educational team, you will work with young learners alongside a supervising Speech-Language Pathologist, making a meaningful impact each day.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid SLPA licensure or certification applicable in Indiana
- Experience supporting school-age children, especially elementary students, preferred
- Ability to implement therapy plans and follow guidance from a licensed SLP
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Compassionate and patient demeanor working with children
- Commitment to maintaining accurate documentation and adhering to confidentiality protocols
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy services to elementary students as outlined by the supervising SLP
- Assist with implementing speech and language goals within the classroom and individual settings
- Monitor and document student progress toward individualized goals
- Collaborate with educators and other school staff to promote student success
- Prepare materials and maintain a positive, encouraging learning environment
- Participate in ongoing training and team meetings as required
