Key Qualifications:
- Hold current SLPA credentials (required)
- Experience supporting school-aged children, especially at the elementary level, preferred
- Strong collaborative spirit; able to take direction from supervising SLP
- Effective communication skills with students, staff, and families
- Organizational abilities and a proactive, positive attitude
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct treatment activities for students as outlined by the supervising speech-language pathologist
- Assist in documenting student progress and maintaining accurate records
- Prepare therapy materials and support classroom integration
- Engage students in individual and small group interventions
- Communicate progress and insights to the SLP and contribute to team meetings when needed
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with all school and professional guidelines
Highlights of the Role:
- Full-time coverage: 37.5 hours weekly, Monday through Friday (7:45 AM–3:15 PM)
- Dedicated elementary school caseload, providing opportunities to build meaningful rapport with students
- Work with a supportive, collaborative team environment
