Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in Lakewood, WA

Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- SLPA license or certification in Washington State (or eligibility)
- Previous experience in a school setting or working with K-8 students preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with students, teachers, and caregivers
- Ability to work independently and effectively follow directions from a supervising SLP
- Comfort using technology to coordinate with virtual team members
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language support to a caseload of about 14 students under the guidance of a virtual SLP
- Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) as directed
- Collect and document data to track student progress toward therapy goals
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive, inclusive school culture
