Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in Kansas City, KS

Qualifications & Experience:
- Active SLPA licensure and certification in Kansas
- Previous experience in a school-based setting, specifically with middle school students, preferred
- Strong organizational and communication abilities
- Ability to implement student treatment plans under the direction of an SLP
- Comfortable working collaboratively with teachers, students, and families
- Familiarity with IEPs and progress documentation is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language support services to students as outlined in their IEPs
- Assist the supervising SLP in developing and adapting therapy materials and strategies
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions on student care and progress
- Support students in group and individual settings, fostering a positive learning environment
- Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and administrators
