Desired Qualifications:
- Active Florida SLPA license required
- Direct experience using AAC devices with students
- Previous work in a school setting strongly preferred
- Background supporting both school-based and healthcare caseloads is advantageous
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive environment for all students
Primary Responsibilities:
- Carry out individualized therapy interventions under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Assist in implementing AAC strategies and technology for student communication
- Support students’ language, speech, and social development in classroom and one-on-one settings
- Collect and document data to monitor student progress
- Communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all school and district policies
