Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) - Henrico, VA

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Valid SLPA license or certification for Virginia (or eligible)
- Experience supporting SLPs in school settings
- Familiarity with K-12 student needs, particularly elementary and middle school
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Adaptable and positive attitude working across multiple campuses
- Ability to provide direct and indirect speech-language services as directed by supervising SLP
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist SLPs in implementing therapy plans to address students’ speech, language, and communication goals
- Work with students individually or in small groups under supervision
- Collect data, document student progress, and communicate updates as required
- Support SLPs during screenings, assessments, and IEP meetings
- Help organize therapy materials and maintain accurate records
- Travel between 2-3 school sites to serve diverse caseloads and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
