Speech-Language Pathology Assistant - Raleigh, NC
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join the education workforce in North Carolina. This is a full-time opportunity supporting students in achieving their communication goals under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
The ideal candidate is passionate about helping students succeed, works well independently and collaboratively, and is committed to providing high-quality speech and language services.
Job Details
- Full-time
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: June 2027
- ~$35.00/hour (varies based on experience)
- $2,500 bonus - half at the end of each semester ($1,250 in December & $1,250 June)
Essential Responsibilities
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services as outlined by the supervising SLP.
- Implement individualized treatment plans and therapy activities.
- Document student progress and maintain accurate service records.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational staff to support student success.
- Assist with therapy preparation, screenings, and data collection.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development activities.
- Maintain compliance with school, state, and federal guidelines.
Qualifications:
Required
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program.
- Currently registered SLP - Assistant in North Carolina
- Ability to work effectively with students, families, and educational teams.
Preferred
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience managing a larger caseload in an educational setting.
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply
