Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or equivalent education required
- Valid SLPA license in the state of Texas
- Prior experience supporting speech/language therapy in a K-12 school setting is a plus
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
- Commitment to supporting student progress and educational goals
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services under the direction and supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
- Assist with screening, assessment, and direct therapy for students across elementary, middle, and high school grades
- Prepare therapy materials and maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
- Collaborate with educational staff and families to foster a positive learning environment
- Support implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Participate in team meetings, in-service trainings, and professional development as required
