The assignment is full-time (37.5 hours per week, 7.5 hours per day), beginning as soon as possible and continuing through late May 2026. While the number of assigned schools and caseload details will be clarified upon placement, your impact will span across diverse age groups in a dynamic school environment.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Completion of an accredited SLPA program and current registration with the state board
- Experience supporting speech-language goals in a school-based setting is preferred
- Ability to collaborate effectively with supervising SLPs, teachers, and support staff
- Flexible and adaptable to meet varying student needs across multiple campuses
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
- Available for early-morning “prescreen” interviews (9–11 a.m. or 2–3 p.m. EST), with some flexibility provided
Key Responsibilities:
- Support implementation of IEP goals under supervision of licensed SLP
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language interventions
- Assist with screenings, progress monitoring, and preparing session materials
- Document student progress and maintain confidentiality of records
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to foster student success
- Participate in relevant staff meetings and professional development as needed
