Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in Phoenix, AZ

Qualifications & Experience:
- Active State of Arizona SLPA license required
- Prior experience working in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Familiarity with providing therapy to elementary-aged children
- Ability to adapt interventions to various student needs and learning styles
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Assist licensed SLPs in delivering direct therapy sessions to elementary students
- Carry out individualized and group treatment plans as directed
- Document student progress and maintain case records in accordance with school policies
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ academic and communication goals
- Support assessment and screening procedures under the supervision of an SLP
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute valuable insights regarding student progress
