Qualifications & Experience
- Valid Arizona SLPA license required
- Current IVP Fingerprint Card (must be presented at application)
- Experience working with school-aged children, preferably PreK–8th grade
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to student support
- Ability to adapt to varying caseloads and engage effectively with students, staff, and families
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and following all ethical standards
Role Responsibilities
- Work under the supervision of a Speech-Language Pathologist to implement individualized education plans
- Deliver direct therapy services to students in grades PreK–8th
- Prepare and adapt materials for therapy sessions based on student needs
- Collect and maintain accurate data and documentation on student progress
- Support the SLP with assessments and parent communication as needed
- Foster an encouraging, inclusive environment where students feel supported in their communication development
This position involves a consistent full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, ensuring meaningful engagement with students and colleagues. The exact caseload will be determined closer to the start date to ensure manageable, focused service.
