To excel in this role, you’ll bring the following:
- Active SLPA license or certification (required)
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred, but not mandatory
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Organizational skills to manage caseload and documentation efficiently
- Adaptability to collaborate with diverse staff, students, and families
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing direct speech-language services under the supervision of a credentialed SLP
- Implementing therapy activities and individualized interventions per student IEPs
- Collecting and maintaining accurate data on student progress
- Supporting IEP meetings and contributing observations or insights as appropriate
- Collaborating with teachers, staff, and parents to maximize student outcomes
- Assisting in adapting learning materials and strategies for speech-language development
This contract position offers consistent hours—37.5 per week, Monday through Friday—allowing for work-life balance and predictable routines. Compensation for this role is highly competitive, paid weekly for your convenience.
