Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) | Full-Time School Opportunity
Are you passionate about helping students strengthen their communication skills and succeed in the classroom? We are currently seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join a supportive school-based team in beautiful Fort Myers, Florida.
This full-time opportunity allows you to work closely with licensed Speech-Language Pathologists, educators, and special education teams to support students with a variety of speech and language needs in a collaborative educational environment.
Position Responsibilities:
• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students based on IEP goals
• Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising SLP
• Conduct individual and small-group therapy sessions
• Assist with speech/language screenings and assessments
• Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation
• Support IEP preparation, progress reporting, and compliance requirements
Qualifications:
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
• Active Florida SLPA license/certification required
• Completion of supervised clinical hours
• Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Ability to work effectively under the supervision of a licensed SLP
