Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) – Part Time

Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide part-time support services in a school-based setting through June 1, 2026. The SLPA will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to assist students with communication needs and support speech and language therapy services.
This position is ideal for candidates who are passionate about helping students improve communication skills that contribute to academic and social success.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Implement speech and language therapy activities developed by the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist
Provide direct therapy support to students in individual and small group settings
Assist with documenting therapy sessions, student progress, and data collection
Prepare instructional materials and therapy resources
Support students with articulation, language, fluency, voice, and social communication goals
Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to reinforce communication strategies
Maintain confidentiality and accurate records in accordance with district and state guidelines
Participate in meetings and complete assigned duties under the supervision of the licensed SLP
Qualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or related field
Valid SLPA license/certification, if required by the state
Ability to work effectively under supervision
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
School-based or pediatric experience preferred
