Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Valid SLPA license or certification required
- Experience in school-based environments is preferred
- Familiarity with speech, language, fluency, voice, and articulation assessments and interventions
- Ability to support and assist in the implementation, monitoring, and revision of IEP goals
- Comfortable providing both direct and indirect speech-language therapy under supervision
- Excellent organizational and documentation abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in conducting speech, language, fluency, voice, and articulation assessments and evaluations
- Support the implementation and progress monitoring of individualized education program (IEP) goals for students
- Provide quality therapy services directly and indirectly, adapting sessions to the unique needs of each student
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation, including session notes and progress reports
- Collaborate with supervising speech-language pathologist, educators, and families to maximize student support
