Key Qualifications:
- Active Missouri SLPA license is required
- Experience supporting elementary-aged students in a school setting is preferred
- Proficiency collaborating with teachers, staff, and families
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
- Must successfully complete district fingerprinting and submit a TCN number
- Willingness to complete required contractor documentation
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language interventions under supervision of a licensed SLP
- Support students’ communication goals in both individual and group settings
- Document student progress and report on outcomes as directed
- Collaborate with educational team members to facilitate student success
- Assist in the implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with all school and district guidelines
- Adapt therapy materials and approaches as directed by supervising SLP
This is an on-site position covering full-time hours (37.5 per week) at a single elementary school in the Riverview area of St. Louis. The assignment is slated to begin as soon as all credentials are cleared and runs through mid-October, offering an excellent introduction or complement to your career in educational therapy services.
