School Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) - Parker, Colorado
Step into a rewarding opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) supporting student communication needs in vibrant school communities. This contract role offers the chance to make a meaningful difference during the school year, working closely with licensed SLPs and diverse student populations in supportive academic environments.
Three openings are currently available: two full-time and one part-time position, each providing a unique blend of experience across various age groups and settings. The full-time roles will split their caseloads between elementary and middle school students, while the part-time position (three days per week) serves both middle and high school students.
Start Date: 8/12/26
End Date: 5/28/27
Full-time schedule: 37.5 hours per week
Part-time schedule: Three days weekly
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active Colorado SLPA license required
- Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with SLP supervisors, educators, and families
- Adaptable and compassionate approach to supporting diverse learners
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement speech-language therapy services and carry out treatment plans designed by supervising SLPs
- Work with students individually or in small groups to address speech, language, and communication goals
- Maintain detailed and compliant therapy records and documentation
- Participate in team meetings and IEP processes as needed
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment that supports student growth
