School-Based Speech Language Pathologist Assistant - Englewood, CO
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students’ communication growth for the 2026-2027 academic year! We are seeking three dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPAs), including two full-time and one part-time role, to provide valuable support across elementary, middle, and high school settings.
Full-time SLPAs will primarily work with elementary and middle school caseloads, while the part-time SLPA will split time between middle and high schools. All positions are based within a single building per assignment, ensuring consistency with your students and team.
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid Colorado SLPA license (required)
- Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
- Solid understanding of speech-language therapy techniques and student support
- Ability to adapt communication strategies for different age groups
- Strong organizational, collaborative, and communication skills
Your Primary Responsibilities Will Include:
- Providing direct speech-language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Assisting with implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Tracking student progress and maintaining accurate documentation
- Participating in team meetings to support student goals
- Collaborating with teachers, staff, and families to foster student success
- Travel between two schools may be required depending on the assigned caseload
Contract Details:
- Contract duration: August 12, 2026 – May 28, 2027
- Full-time roles: 37.5 hours per week, split between elementary and middle schools
- Part-time role: 3 days/week, serving middle and high school students
