School-Based Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) – 2026/2027 School Year
Are you a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young students? We are seeking a passionate SLPA to join a supportive school team for the 2026–2027 school year!
Position Details:
- Position: Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- School Year: 2026–2027
- Start Date: August 12, 2026
- End Date: June 7, 2027
- Schedule: 37.5 hours per week
- Caseload: Kindergarten through 5th Grade
- Student Caseload: Approximately 40–50 students
- Supervision: Direct supervision and support provided by a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
Responsibilities:
- Implement speech and language treatment plans developed by the supervising SLP
- Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings
- Document student progress and maintain accurate service records
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support student success
- Assist with screenings, observations, and other duties as directed by the supervising SLP
Qualifications:
- Active SLPA license/certification in accordance with state requirements
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively with elementary-aged students
- School-based experience preferred, but not required
