Special Education Teacher 

Location: Dover, NH
School Year: 2026–2027 School Year
Contract Dates: September 1, 2026 – June 16, 2027
Schedule: 32.5–35 hours per week
School Hours: 7:30 AM – 2:30 PM
Position Type: Full-Time Special Education Teacher
License Requirement: Active New Hampshire Teaching License Required

Job Description
We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teachers for the 2026–2027 school year. The ideal candidates will be committed to supporting students with diverse learning needs and creating inclusive classroom environments that promote academic and social success.

Responsibilities
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Provide specialized instruction tailored to student needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
• Foster a positive and supportive learning environment
• Participating in team meetings, professional development, and school initiatives

Qualifications

• Active New Hampshire Teaching License with Special Education Endorsement 

Required
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Experience working with students with diverse learning needs preferred
• Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams
