School Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) | Crowley, Texas
Support student success and communication growth in a vibrant educational environment as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA). This is a rewarding, full-time contract position, with opportunities available across elementary and secondary school campuses. You'll be providing essential direct services to groups of 70–85 students, collaborating closely with an experienced SLP supervisor to help every learner flourish.
Key Qualifications & Skills:
- Current Texas SLPA license issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR)
- Experience in a school setting preferred, with knowledge of group-based interventions
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, student-centered approach
- Ability to work onsite and collaborate as part of an interdisciplinary school team
- Commitment to professional ethics and confidentiality standards
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver group-based speech-language services to students as assigned
- Support implementation of Individualized Education Plans under SLP supervision
- Accurately document sessions, student progress, and communication goals
- Assist with preparation of therapy materials and data collection
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute ideas to promote student development
- Foster an inclusive, supportive atmosphere for all students
What You’ll Enjoy: Flexible full-time daytime hours—elementary campuses run 7:30am–3:30pm, while secondary is 8:00am–4:00pm. Engage in meaningful work onsite, collaborating daily with students and seasoned therapists.
