Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid California licensure as an SLP, SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLPA
- Previous experience in K-12 schools or pediatric healthcare preferred
- Proficient in delivering speech and language therapy and conducting student assessments
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to build rapport with students, parents, and educational teams
- Commitment to evidence-based therapeutic practices
- SLPA candidates should have verifiable school-based experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to a diverse caseload of K-12 students
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, team discussions, and multidisciplinary evaluations
- Offer guidance and support to ensure student inclusion and academic achievement
