Your qualifications and experience include:
- Active SLPA license issued by the state of Illinois (required)
- Background in school-based or healthcare speech-language pathology settings, particularly at the high school level
- Strong organizational and communication skills for documenting and reporting student progress
- Ability to collaborate effectively with speech-language pathologists, educators, and other school professionals
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and support students’ communication needs during the school day
- Maintain accurate records of therapy activities and progress
- Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and professional development as needed
