Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in Castle Rock, CO
Exciting opportunities are available for enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathology Assistants to make a real difference for students! Multiple contract SLPA positions are open for the upcoming school year, with both full-time and part-time options. Available positions:
- Two full-time (37.5 hours/week) roles, each shared between elementary and middle school populations in vibrant communities.
- One part-time opening (three days/week), shared between middle and high school settings.
The assignment runs from August 12, 2026, through May 28, 2027. All positions involve service in one building per role, allowing for consistency and meaningful relationships with staff and students.
To thrive in these roles, you will need:
- Current Speech-Language Pathology Assistant license valid in Colorado
- Experience working with pediatric or adolescent populations (schools setting preferred)
- Confidence implementing IEPs and supporting lesson delivery under SLP supervision
- Clear communication and a collaborative approach with school teams, students, and families
- Ability to adapt quickly and contribute positively in dynamic school environments
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting in the execution of speech and language therapy activities
- Supporting SLPs in collecting and documenting student data
- Aiding in preparation of therapy materials and classroom tasks
- Providing direct intervention services in both group and individual settings
- Maintaining confidentiality and professional standards at all times
