We are hiring a full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for an immediate onsite position in Bourbonnais, Illinois. Working under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, you will support a low, highly manageable caseload of approximately 25 students through the end of the school year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech and language therapy interventions following established IEP treatment plans.

• Work under the clinical supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).

• Document student progress, collect therapy session data, and maintain accurate clinical records.

• Assist with classroom equipment, therapy materials, and augmentative communication (AAC) devices.

• Collaborate with classroom teachers and educational staff to support student communication goals.

Requirements:

• Licensure: Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) License issued by IDFPR.

• Certification: Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with SLPA endorsement (or Statement of Approval).

• Education: Associate degree from an accredited SLPA program or Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders with completed SLPA clinical hours.
