You’ll manage a balanced schedule, working on-site at either an elementary, middle, or high school campus each day—with no daily transitions required. Support students on your assigned caseload and make meaningful connections with learners at each level.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license in Texas required
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Ability to adapt communication styles across age groups, from elementary through high school
- Commitment to maintaining professional and ethical standards
- Must successfully complete fingerprinting and drug screening as part of the credentialing process
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language services to students, following individualized education plans as assigned
- Collaborate with supervising SLPs, teachers, and staff to monitor student progress
- Document sessions, update records, and participate in meetings as required
- Manage a consistent schedule assigned to no more than one campus per day, providing continuity and focused support
- Participate in professional development or in-service training as requested
