Key Qualifications:
- Texas state licensure as an SLPA (Speech-Language Pathology Assistant), active and in good standing
- Prior experience in a school setting is preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with teachers and other school professionals
- Willingness to provide support to students in a variety of age groups and developmental levels
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language services to students as outlined in assigned caseload, supporting progress toward their individualized goals
- Implement therapeutic activities under the direction of a supervising Speech-Language Pathologist
- Accurately document student progress and maintain thorough, up-to-date records
- Collaborate with educators and families to support student communication and participation in the school environment
- Adhere to all district, state, and federal policies as well as professional ethical guidelines
