Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy for elementary-aged students, addressing diverse needs in articulation, language, and pragmatic skills
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student communication goals in the school environment
- Complete and maintain accurate documentation of student progress and session notes
- Participate in team meetings, IEP planning, and parent communications
- Provide supervision for one SLPA on-site
- Adapt and individualize treatment plans as needed, ensuring all students receive high-quality interventions
- Work within a supportive campus dedicated to fostering communication skills without the use of AAC
Qualifications:
- Hold an active TX Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) License
- Prior experience with school-aged populations is highly valued
- Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork abilities
