Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state SLP license (required for the placement state)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFYs are welcome
- Previous school-based experience is a plus, though not required
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- For hybrid/virtual roles: proficiency with teletherapy technology
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in school-aged children
- Develop and implement targeted treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Maintain thorough documentation as required by the district and compliance standards
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
