Telehealth Speech Language Pathologist | North Carolina
Available is a contract role for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) offering teletherapy services in a school environment in Lexington, NC. The assignment runs from August 5, 2026, through May 27, 2027, serving 45-50 students with a full-time commitment of 37.5 hours per week. This position focuses on providing articulation therapy and supporting students' speech and language development within a school setting.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering speech therapy services to a caseload of students with diverse communication needs, utilizing teletherapy methods.
- Administering articulation therapy to improve students' speech clarity.
- Applying expertise in Early Childhood Assessment and Treatment Services (ECATS) when available.
- Collaborating with educational staff to support individualized education plans and student progress.
Preferred qualifications and experience:
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in speech-language pathology.
- Experience in pediatric healthcare and school settings.
- Proficiency in teletherapy delivery techniques.
- Familiarity with school-based speech-language pathology services and protocols.
