A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2026-27 academic year in Oroville, CA. This role supports elementary students with speech, language, and communication needs at one school site, serving approximately 40-45 students from Transitional Kindergarten through 5th grade.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy to students with diagnosed communication disorders
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and document progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student learning and communication goals
- Maintain caseload management for 40-45 students
- Participate in related meetings and professional development as required
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist certification (SLP - CCC)
- Experience working in school settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders in children
- Ability to manage a caseload independently and efficiently
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Contract Details:
- School-year contract with approximately 160-170 working days
- 7.5-hour workday schedule
- Based at one elementary school site in Oroville, CA
