Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active and current SLP licensure in Michigan
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but not required
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively with students, families, and educational teams
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in grades K-12, based on individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Evaluate, assess, and document student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student development
- Develop and implement appropriate intervention plans
- Maintain accurate and timely records for each student as required by district and state guidelines
- Adapt strategies and materials to meet the diverse needs of your caseload, which will vary depending on assignment
