This full-time role focuses on speech-language services in a school environment, offering the chance to make a meaningful impact as you work with a diverse caseload of approximately 70 students. With two positions available, and one open to SLPAs, this is a wonderful setting for both seasoned Speech-Language Pathologists with CCC and those looking to grow their career.
Required Skills & Preferred Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license with CCC, or SLPA credentials (for one of the two openings)
- Previous experience providing speech services to school-aged children (K-12 preferred)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with teachers, families, and support staff
- Ability to manage diverse caseloads and tailor interventions for individual student needs
- Organizational skills to effectively document progress and maintain student records
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy services to a K-12 student population
- Evaluate, diagnose, and create personalized treatment plans to address a range of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Collaborate with general and special education teachers, counselors, and administrators for students’ educational planning
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and document measurable goals and progress reports
- Maintain timely compliance with all required documentation and reporting
- Offer support and guidance to families and educational staff regarding speech-language needs and strategies
