A dynamic opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K-12 students during the 2026-27 school year in Douglasville, GA, located approximately 20 minutes west of Atlanta. This full-time contract position offers 37.5 hours per week and requires onsite presence to provide direct, in-person services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s unique needs and goals.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to integrate therapy goals within the classroom setting.
- Maintain thorough documentation and comply with state and federal regulations.
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy approaches as needed.
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP certification with either Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), or School-based licensure.
- Experience or willingness to work within a K-12 educational environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with students, families, and school personnel.
- Willingness to work full-time onsite; virtual work is not available for this role.
- Recent graduates completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) will be seriously considered.
