School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Woodford, Virginia
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in a vibrant K-12 educational setting as an SLP. This full-time role offers 37.5 hours per week, perfect for those looking to make a meaningful impact on diverse learners. You'll contribute essential speech-language services while covering two maternity leave periods this academic year—one from the end of December/early January through early March, and another from mid-November until the end of March (spring break).

What you'll need:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current, valid SLP license for practice in Virginia (or ability to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility; supervision available for CFs
- Previous school-based experience strongly preferred
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key responsibilities:
- Provide evaluation and therapy services to students with a range of speech and language needs
- Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with the school team
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reporting in compliance with local and federal guidelines
- Engage with families and educators to support student success
