This full-time, contract opportunity is perfect for passionate Speech-Language Pathologists, including both experienced clinicians and new graduates ready to complete their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY). Work alongside a supportive, tight-knit team of seven other SLPs who are committed to professional growth, teamwork, and student success.

Your caseload includes approximately 55 diverse students, offering an impactful way to develop your skills across the full spectrum of school-based speech-language therapy. This position has a 37.5-hour workweek with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break, giving you a balanced schedule to deliver quality services. The contract begins August 7, 2026—one week before students return—allowing ample time for orientation and collaboration, and continues through June 11, 2027.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Eligible for or currently hold VA SLP License
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows (CFY) are highly encouraged to apply
  • Experience with pediatric and/or school-aged populations preferred
  • Strong communication skills with a collaborative, team-centered approach

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, intervention, and consultative services for K-12 students
  • Manage and document a caseload of approximately 55 students
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
  • Contribute to IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and support peers within a collaborative SLP team
