School Speech and Language Pathologist | Elizabeth, New Jersey

Three full-time Speech-Language Pathologist positions are available for a 12-week maternity leave assignment, starting September 2026. Openings are available at two elementary schools with one additional school-based position to be determined. Your expertise will guide students in reaching their communication goals, while working onsite and engaging with multidisciplinary school teams. Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply with their own external supervision, while holders of the CCC-SLP credential are highly valued for these roles.
Qualifications:
- Active NJ Speech-Language Pathology License
- Valid NJ School Speech-Language Specialist Certification
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCCs) preferred
- Clinical Fellows accepted (must provide your own SLP-CCC supervisor)
- Previous school-based experience or strong interest in K-5 and Autism support
- SLPAs are not eligible for this position
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language services to a diverse caseload in elementary settings
- Collaborate effectively with faculty, support staff, and families
- Conduct assessments, develop IEPs, and monitor student progress
- Adapt therapy plans for Autism population and Preschool learners
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
