Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current and valid Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license in California
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment for diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders among students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on students’ needs
- Provide direct therapy services in both individual and group settings
- Maintain clear, timely documentation of student progress and outcomes
- Consult with educators, families, and support staff to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to the educational planning process, and help facilitate the generalization of skills into the classroom
- Stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology and participate in ongoing professional development
