Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Wichita, Kansas

Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure (or eligible) for Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status considered
- Prior experience working in a school or pediatric healthcare setting preferred
- Strong clinical skills in evaluating and treating a range of communication, language, voice, and swallowing disorders
- Excellent collaboration and communication abilities with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for high school students
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs), tailored to students with mixed abilities and life skills needs
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and support staff to maximize student outcomes
- Facilitate group and one-on-one therapy sessions based on individual student requirements
- Maintain thorough and compliant documentation, progress reports, and data collection
- Consult and communicate regularly with parents and caregivers regarding student progress and strategies for support
