What We’re Looking For:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred; CFY considered
- Previous experience in a school setting highly valued
- Familiarity with IEPs, progress monitoring, and collaboration with educators and families
- Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for working with children and adolescents
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students to determine needs for speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students
- Work closely with teachers, special educators, and families to support student progress
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records
- Participate in IEP meetings and parent conferences as required
- Stay current with best practices and continuing education for school-based therapy
