Speech Language Pathologist in Whitman, MA
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 26/27 school year supporting a high school caseload. This contract role offers a structured Monday through Friday schedule, 6:40am to 2:00pm, and presents the chance to make an immediate impact working within an educational setting.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Massachusetts SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- DESE credentials required
- Experience or interest in working with high school students in a school-based setting
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to high school students, addressing a range of communication challenges.
- Conduct evaluations, develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Offer support and consultation to teachers and families regarding student progress and strategies for success.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state requirements.
- Participate in meetings, professional development, and ongoing training as needed.
