Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current licensure and certification as required for school-based practice
- Previous experience providing SLP services in a school setting strongly preferred
- Solid grasp of IEP development, documentation, and therapy session delivery
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to effectively manage a diverse student caseload
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech, language, and communication therapy to students from varied backgrounds
- Conduct assessments and contribute to multidisciplinary teams to develop IEPs
- Monitor, document, and report student progress; adjust therapy plans when needed
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and the Lead SLP to facilitate student success
- Stay updated on best practices and district policies for school-based SLPs
