Key Qualifications:
- Hold a valid Speech-Language Pathologist license for the state of Vermont (or be eligible to obtain one).
- Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is preferred, but driven new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong understanding of IEP procedures and ability to conduct assessments and deliver therapy services in accordance with student goals.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit in working alongside educators, families, and other professionals.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services and evaluate students as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Develop and maintain individualized treatment plans and IEP documentation.
- Participate in IEP meetings, offering insight and recommendations for student success.
- Collaborate with general and special education staff to support language and communication needs in the classroom.
- Engage with parents/guardians regarding student progress and strategies for success.
