This onsite position offers the unique chance to work across one or two school settings, collaborating closely with educational staff to help students achieve their communication goals. You’ll manage a caseload of around 60, with plenty of support and the satisfaction of making a meaningful impact throughout the 2026-2027 school year.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid SLP (ASHA) license for Alabama
  • Current Alabama professional educator license (confirmation available at the state website)
  • Open to Clinical Fellows and SLPs with CCCs (must be able to supervise if CCCs)
  • Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
  • Willingness to work onsite and travel between school locations as needed

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct therapy services to elementary and middle school students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Assess, diagnose, and document communication disorders
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student success
  • Participate in eligibility and IEP meetings
  • Supervise SLP Clinical Fellows, if CCCs are held
  • Maintain accurate, timely records in accordance with school and state requirements
